Oh Deer!
On my first hike in California, I encountered a number of deers along the tails of Rancho San Antonio. I was amazed by a few things, while images and stories of hiking in Gatineau and Adirondacks flooded my memory:

- Hills and nature are REALLY just minutes away from all the high tech buildings.

- These deers are REALLY just too comfortable with people around.

- The trails are REALLY dry and yellow.
